PlanGraphics to develop business case for Oregon GIS Utility FRANKFORT, Ky., December 21, 2004The State of Oregons Information Resource Management Division has selected PlanGraphics, Inc. (Pink Sheets: PGRA) to develop a detailed business case for a statewide geographic information system (GIS) utility. This $479,000 assignment is the first phase of a multi-phased project intended to lead to the development of the GIS utility, envisioned as a cutting-edge data warehouse to maintain and distribute GIS data to a wide variety of GIS users in the state. The Oregon Geographic Information Council has prepared a preliminary business case for the GIS utility. In this phase of the project, PlanGraphics will focus on detailed cost, benefit, and return-on-investment information. Specific tasks will include:
