NYC's Mayor's Management Report Relies on GIS and Internet Dissemination Frankfort, KY, October 7, 2002The New York City's Mayor's Office of Operations, with the assistance of PlanGraphics, Inc. (OTCBB: PGRA) and the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT), launched "My Neighborhood Statistics," an Internet mapping application that allows citizens to view various City government performance measures from the newly redesigned Mayor's Management Report (MMR). According to Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, My Neighborhood Statistics "makes use of the latest information technology [and] makes this the first MMR of the 21st Century." My Neighborhood Statistics, created by PlanGraphics utilizing ESRI's ArcIMS and ArcSDE software, highlights 14 indicators from the MMR, including: air, noise and asbestos complaints; street cleanliness; number of public assistance recipients; and crime statistics by police precinct such as felonies and murders. The MMR and this application are focused on delivering information to the public in a clear, concise manner. "You are, for the first time, able to now participate in the government of the future," said Mayor Bloomberg. The application can be viewed at: www.nyc.gov/myneighborhoodstats. PlanGraphics, Inc.,
