City of Columbus Department of Technology retains PlanGraphics for continued GIS advisory services FRANKFORT, Ky., Dec. 18, 2003PlanGraphics Inc. (OTC BB: PGRA) has been awarded a new series of tasks under an extension to an existing master agreement for GIS management and support services to the City of Columbus, Ohio, Department of Technology. "We've worked with the Columbus Department of Technology in a lot of areas, from GIS to permitting to the on-line 'My Neighborhood' application," said Mike Langley, PlanGraphics' central-region vice president, "and we look forward to building on that relationship and helping the City capitalize further on its spatial information assets in 2004." Under the extension, PlanGraphics will continue to provide management and technological advisory support to the City of Columbus' chief information officer, Jesse Jones, regarding GIS activities in City agencies.
