New York City "My Neighborhood" Web application released NEW YORK, August 6, 2003The New York City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT), with the assistance of PlanGraphics, Inc. (OTCBB: PGRA), has released the "My Neighborhood" Web application. This application pulls together data from 23 City agencies and organizes the content in theme categories. The user enters in an address, and a map is displayed with various City facilities available in the neighborhood. The application can be viewed on-line at www.nyc.gov. "With the My Neighborhood interactive map, New Yorkers can finally find all the City services in their neighborhood," New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg said in a May 4 press release. The concept of the application is to give users an easy-to-use application while delivering a plethora of information. The application and the facility data are the result of the continued partnership between PlanGraphics, DoITT and other City agencies. The cooperation and assistance offered by 23 agencies represents a truly cooperative effort by many.
