PlanGraphics reports $1.1 million in new project assignments in New York City

FRANKFORT, Ky., May 10, 2004—PlanGraphics Inc. (Pink Sheets: PGRA) has been awarded a series of new project assignments that have added $1.1 million to the funded portion of the company’s contract vehicle with the City. Currently capped at $15.4 million, the contract vehicle was registered by the New York City Comptroller on Dec. 27, 2002. It covers a period of three years and has two optional one-year renewals that the City may exercise.

Projects responsible for the contract modifications include:

  • Development of an information technology strategic plan for the Department of Parks and Recreation
  • A filtration avoidance project for the Department of Environmental Protection
  • Spatially indexing the Department of Environmental Protection’s drainage plans
  • Systems integration and application development work for the Mayor’s Office of the Criminal Justice Coordinator
  • On-site application programming for the Department of City Planning
  • Requirements definition for a capital project tracking system for the Department of Environmental Protection
  • Development of a water surveillance application for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
  • Department of Finance property mapping (COGIS) evaluation
  • Development of a GIS Web application for the Department of Finance’s assessors
  • Enhancements to the “My Neighborhood Statistics” GIS Web application for the Mayor’s Office of Operations.
