FRANKFORT, Ky., August 1, 2005—Richland County, Ohio, has hired PlanGraphics Inc. (Pk: PGRA) for project management and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews of photogrammetric products being delivered by the county's aerial photography/photogrammetry contractor. This is the latest in a series of assignments that the company has completed for the north-central Ohio county.
Steven Moulton of PlanGraphics will manage this assignment, which has two parts:
- Project management, including project planning meetings, status meetings, procedure document reviews and recommendations and deliverable schedule reviews and enforcement
- QA/QC of products, including aerial photography flight planning, LIDAR ("LIght Detection And Ranging") planning, aerial photography acquisition, scanning, ground control, airborne GPS, aerotriangulation, raw LIDAR data, digital terrain model data and 2-foot contours.
