PlanGraphics to develop pilot of community resource 'data mart' in Louisville

FRANKFORT, Ky., Oct. 20, 2006—PlanGraphics, Inc. (PK: PGRA) has been awarded a contract to develop a pilot implementation of a community resource "data mart" for the Louisville/Jefferson County, Ky., Community Resource Network (CRN).

A "data mart" is a Web-based portal or clearinghouse that gives access to a wide range of information about community services, resources, and contacts. PlanGraphics will work with CRN to perform the following tasks:

  • Define user requirements
  • Identify source data and define a logical architecture model
  • Develop the technical architecture (i.e., server and storage hardware, application and Web server software, database management software
  • Implement and test the data mart design
  • Fully document the data mart and associated training.

Executive Consultant Annie Metcalf will manage the project.
