PlanGraphics to guide design of enterprise geodatabase for Mercer County, N.J. FRANKFORT, Ky., Jan. 19, 2007Mercer County, N.J., has selected PlanGraphics, Inc. (PK: PGRA) for an enterprise geodatabase design project. Mercer County Planning Division has developed its geographic information system (GIS) capabilities over the last decade. A primary goal of the new project will be to establish standards that will facilitate the delivery and sharing of high-quality GIS data for effective planning and decision support, according to Lisa Swain, PlanGraphics project manager. This project is being funded by a grant from the United States Department of Homeland Security to facilitate interagency and intergovernmental data migration. Specific project activities will include the following:
