PlanGraphics revising CAD standards for City of Columbus

FRANKFORT, Ky., Oct. 1, 2007—PlanGraphics (PK: PGRA) has been hired by the City of Columbus (Ohio) Department of Public Utilities to provide on-going assistance in the revision of CAD standards supporting plan and plat drawing submittal and processing.

This work includes a review and revision of previous work carried out by PlanGraphics and City Departments in the development of detailed CAD standards that cover file formats, submittal procedures, and details of drawing layers and symbology. The intent is to prepare a major revision that is applicable to all land development processes carried out by City departments.

PlanGraphics is also providing support in documenting workflows associated with digital drawing submittals and recommending improvements for efficient intake, checking, and overall processing.
