QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAMMER/ANALYST

PlanGraphics, Inc., provider of spatial information technology services, has a unique opportunity for a quality control programmer/analyst.

Technical skills required include

• Ability to develop/modify existing applications written with VB/ArcObjects.
• Ability to develop applications to modify data in SDE.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle/SDE, and ability to set up the Oracle/SDE data editing environment.
• Ability to generate and recommend versioning workflow based on experience working with other GIS data editing environments.
• Understanding of the basic ArcGIS system environment (e.g., can upgrade versions, license files, create services, and perform all troubleshooting related to the maintenance of the ArcGIS environment.)
• Ability to perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades on server.
• Ability to develop/modify existing application written in JAVA and VB 6 incorporating data from Oracle.

Individual should have a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field, and should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. EEO employer.
