GIS
Programmer Analyst PlanGraphics, Inc., has opportunities for GIS programmer analysts, full-time or part-time. Positions require strong GIS application programming, database administration, and project management skills and ability to work as a self-starter and in team environments. Candidates should have experience implementing, maintaining, and tuning data in an ArcSDE/Oracle 10g environment, programming in VB/ArcObjects, and developing ArcIMS Web sites. These positions require extensive knowledge and demonstrable experience with a wide range of ESRI products including ArcGIS, ArcIMS, and ArcSDE. ArcGIS Server experience, Java development, VB.Net, C#, and ASP.net programming expertise is desirable. In addition, experience with water and sewer facilities is preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work and manage multiple projects and/or tasks, ensuring that projects are on time and within budget. Must be willing to travel. Alternative locations include Washington, D.C. area; San Francisco; and Frankfort, Kentucky. Positions require bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or related field and strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. EEO employer.
